Which Europe plans are compared
Yesim lists a 5 GB plan for 30 days at €9.60 and a 1 GB plan for 30 days at €2.50. Nomad lists a 3 GB plan for 30 days at €10.53 and a 1 GB plan for 7 days at €4.83. The network for each plan appears beside the provider's price, validity and read date.
The two providers offer different combinations of data and validity in the plans shown here. The 1 GB Yesim plan lasts 30 days, while the 1 GB Nomad plan lasts 7 days. The 3 GB and 5 GB plans both last 30 days, but their data allowances and prices are different. Reading the days with the data allowance gives more context than reading the per-GB figure alone.
How to choose between plans
Among the plans priced in EUR, Yesim's 5 GB plan for 30 days has the lowest price per GB at €1.92. The table also shows Yesim's 1 GB plan at €2.50 per GB, Nomad's 3 GB plan at €3.51 per GB, and Nomad's 1 GB plan at €4.83 per GB. Price per GB compares plans of different lengths only roughly because a 30-day plan and a 7-day plan differ in days as well as in data.
Yesim lists SwitchLess Networks and the strongest available network including 5G for its plans. Nomad lists Multiple Providers. The countries covered may differ between the two: Yesim's page describes its plan as Europe and UK, and Nomad's page has its own country list. Check that every country on your route is on the list of the plan you pick. Euro prices are shown as each provider's page showed them on the read date, and they are not converted.
What to check before you buy
An eSIM is installed on the phone by scanning a QR code or entering a code from the provider. The phone must support eSIM and be unlocked from its carrier. Many travel eSIM plans carry data only, so check whether a plan includes a phone number if calls or text messages are needed.
Providers not shown and why
Airalo and Holafly also sell plans for Europe. Their terms do not allow this site to republish their prices, so they are not in the table. Check those providers' own sites for current prices.
